I enjoy experimenting with organic shapes and patterns in my artwork to reflect the natural world around me. I use a variety of mediums, such as acrylic paint, oil pastel, watercolors, encaustic, pencil, and collage.
After living in a rural area of coastal Sonoma County, California, I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in early 2023. Both places provide ample artistic inspiration! My hope is that my work--and the work of fellow artists who also draw inspiration from nature—will help to bring appreciation for, and inspire protection of, our beautiful earth.
Individual and group exhibitions give me inspiration to continue showing my work; some shows over the past few years have been at the O'Hanlon Gallery in San Rafael, CA, Marin MOCA in Novato, CA, the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health, and Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco. I also exhibit my work at various small businesses and have prints for sale at local state parks.
